The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Self-Help – Oh no! Not my genre. But the simplicity and elegance in Dr. David’s words kept me going. He cleverly intrigued common ordinary human minds by practical problems and workable methods, not by empty promises or decorative words. Captioned “Over 4 million copies in print”, No doubt, it surely should be.
My favourite excerpts from the book:
-> We do not think in words and phrases. We think only in pictures/images
-> People continue to imitate others throughout life
-> The biggest trouble is little of Monday’s inspiration is carried on to Tuesday and the rest of the week
-> There never is a bandwagon movement to buy anything second-class, especially when it is given a first-class Price
-> How you think when you lose determines how long it will be until you win
